Hi! I’m Gillian.
I’m a Certified Sommelier who developed a passion for wine through my study of Anthropology and a year of study abroad. I became fascinated with how the land and climate (the terroir) of a vineyard combined with the winemaker's philosophy, creates a product unique to that place and their culture. I wrote my thesis on wine education and took the Sommelier exam the following fall.
Since then, I have continued to learn about wine and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, creating educational tasting experiences, both in-home and virtually!
